Upbeat GNV

Upbeat GNV is a DIY volunteer organization based in Gainesville, FL, dedicated to the cause of bringing mental wellness to our vibrant music community.

Research has proven that musicians and music-industry professionals struggle at higher-than-average rates for symptoms of depression, anxiety and substance abuse. The goal of Upbeat GNV is to bring mental health awareness forward in our music scene and offer tools such as affordable therapy, mental health first aid classes and resources to get help.

This project is ever-evolving and still growing, but I work as the lead designer on a volunteer basis providing social media, web and print graphics for Upbeat GNV. This project is very close to my heart as I care deeply about mental health and helping musicians get the support they need in a time where therapy is not so easily accessible or affordable.
